How We Got Started

Welcome Ngeju is just a  man born and bred in Grahamstown, South Africa. For years he has seen the violence and unrest in the townships of South Africa and decided in his own power to do something.  He sees the initiatives for penguins and rhinos and how we as humans immediately jump to the cause but wonders why we don’t blink for those in the poorest areas. Izwe-Heritage is his initiative to save the people in the townships from their own destruction.  It is his plan to build social cohesion and restore African Pride in many hopeless societies. He dreams of a better South Africa and wishes to give hope to the desperate people by reminding them of who their anscestors were and where they cam from. 

There is a huge need for South African’s to be proud and for them to restore what they know about their heritage. Izwe Heritage will use heritage as an empowering weapon to fight poverty by motivating our people  to strive forward. It is our intention to add value to many societies and to unite the Rainbow Nation by looking at how far we have come as a nation.
